The Golden Globes were last week and I've seen so many beautiful dresses on social media. With that being said, I had no other choice but to write about it! Here are my top fave fashionable looks from the red carpet.
Emma Stone's Valentino Haute Couture dress absolutely blew me away. Anyone who knows me knows I adore stars, and this dress definitely had more than a few of them! The light champagne color complimented her red hair and actually went very well with her shimmery skin. She looked all-around extremely elegant.
I may be slightly biased here considering Lily Collins is one of my favorite people ever, but let's be honest. I think anyone would say that she looked exquisite in this Zuhair Murad Couture dress! Her cherry red lips and porcelain-like skin stood out as her hair was pulled out of her face.
The dress was of course the best part of the look. Without going overboard, the solid pink color was just the right color for the layered roses. This is definitely one of Lily's best colors.
I have to talk about singer and actress Hailee Steinfeld's. Isn't this flawless?!
Light purple is one of those colors that looks great on just about anyone, and Hailee proves that she can pull off this lavender custom Vera Wang dress.
Although Hailee is already fairly tall, the length of the dress accentuates her height. The high neck is very flattering against her neck and face and also boosts her height. My favorite touch to the look is the matching lavender makeup on her brown eyes.
Last, but not least, is 1/2 of America's favorite couple. Blake's Versace gown does wonders for her incredible post-baby bod.
The dress is almost styled after an Egyptian goddess. Blake takes the basic black dress and makes it glamorous with the glittered trim and pockets. The longer train adds just a little extra glamour. She also wears the same gem bracelet on both wrists to match the dress's design.
Aussie Nicole Kidman went a little further with the sparkles, but she totally nailed it. The Alexander McQueen dress made her bright blue eyes pop and showed off her bod.
As if the dress wasn't perfect enough, she added a couple of matching extravagant embellished gloves! The colors in her dress transferred into her simplistic and cool-toned makeup.
I know this isn't exactly the typical ornate Golden Globes dress, but I fully admire the modernistic aspects of this Louis Vuitton dress. Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner went against the traditional wear and displayed a little bit of a contemporary style.
The bright white geometric and belted top contrasted ideally against the black sheer layer underneath. The slimming lines in this dress show off her curves. Her hair is kept sleek and straight to coordinate with the dress and her clean strapped heels.
All I'm going to say is that I hope I look this incredible when I'm 44 years old. The admirable Modern Family star always looks wonderful and never fails to impress.
Like Lily, Sophia wore a Zuhair Murad Couture gown. The cutouts in the shoulders showed off her beautiful skin tone and the fit of the dress displayed her curves. Her hair was pulled back into a ponytail to bare her strong facial features. She finalized her look with a deep lipstick for emphasis.
