Trends are continuously changing and rotating from season to season; however, there are some classic staple pieces that always appear on the winter runways. Velvet is an all-time favorite of mine, and it always puts me in a holiday-happy mood. There are many ways to wear this romantic, yet slightly 90's, material. Wear it as a body suit with a high waisted skirt, or spice up a velvet camisole with a fur vest or jacket. Velvet is elegant, rich, and looks great toned down with a pair of denim jeans for family gatherings and holiday outings.
Velvet can also appeal as dangerous and grunge. These velvet pants take comfort to the next level of glam rock and have an added flair with their bell bottom shape, elongating the legs and accentuating the curves of any body.
Flannels never fail in any wardrobe and come in a variety of colors. A black and white flannel is perfect for any season and goes with any color underneath, so it's very neutral. You can also tie it around your waist to complete your outfit! You can never go wrong with a black on black outfit with some cute accessories to create an flawless look.
Another staple piece of mine is a romper. I absolutely adore the simplicity of being able to throw on a romper and looking stylish all in one. Rompers are one of those pieces that has the ability to be worn year round, but not very many people tend to see it that way. They are extremely wearable in colder weather. Just like a dress, you can wear it with tights and cute thigh high boots or booties for warmth. You can even throw on a sweater or a coat for that extra layer outdoors. It's hard to go wrong with a classic romper, and they are of course super comfy and wearable!
